If Buhari Doesn’t Perform, Stone Us - APC Chieftain, Tony Momoh Says Email FB share Tweet

A chieftain of APC and former Minister of Information, Tony Momoh, says Nigerians should stone him and his party members if President Buhari fails to deliver on his electoral promises. He said this in an interview with Leadership newspaper

"You have heard the President said he is the one that Nigerians voted for and he is responsible to them not to me or you. He is not owned by anybody.

He was there between 1983 and 1985, he has experienced it, he is the only one who came since independence to be President of Nigeria and succeeded. No other one, Tafawa Balewa wanted to be a broadcaster, he became Prime Minister, Alhaji Shehu Shagari wanted to become a Senator, he became President; Olusegun Obasanjo was in prison praying to be released, at the end of the day he became president, Late Yar ‘Adua wanted to retire to lecture in Ahmadu Bello University, he became President; Jonathan was taken from Bayelsa to Abuja and made Vice President and them later became Acting President and President. Buhari went into politics and wanted to be President in 2003, he failed, 2007 he failed and 2015 he succeeded. Do you think that this type of person will be rushed into doing things he don’t believe will make Nigerians grow? I can assure you No. There are three steps in Buhari’s scheme, S+S=P that is the equation. S is for security, he will secure Nigeria, the other S is for stability, he will stabilise Nigeria through infrastructural development and the outcome of security and stability is Prosperity and Nigeria will prosper. At the end of the day, if Buhari doesn’t perform, stone us because he is going to perform"he said.

Biafra: Release Kanu or heavens will strike, cleric tells Buhari

Nnamdi-Kanu-qq
FOLLOWING the agitation by members of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB and continued detention of Biafra Radio Director, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu by the Department of State Security, DSS, a renowned cleric, Prophet..Anthony Nwoko of the Church of God, weekend called on President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure Kanu’s immediate release or Heaven will fall.
Prophet Nwoko when he addressed a crowded press conference at the end of a Prayer Summit organised by 24 pastors in Enugu, with the theme ‘Possessing the land,’ said: “I cannot find any clean political leader from the South East. The governors are selfish, self centered, and have never pursued any action that will uplift the overall well-being of Igbo nation.”

Prophet Nwoko also urged the President to urgently release the detained leader of IPOB as it was an act of injustice to detain a man who did not commit any crime.
“Buhari must release Nnamdi Kanu with immediate effect, otherwise the heavens will strike,” he said.
He challenged religious leaders in the South East geopolitical zone to “step forward now and fulfil God’s mandate for the Igbo nation.
“The religious leaders saw the glory in the country but could not deliver the message to the nation, the judgment will be upon them for denying Christ, his glory. I was spiritually crowned for the nation and the world and was sent on a special mission for the glory of God.
“They should allow this light to materialize, if not crisis will overrun the nation as a whole, Prophet Nwoko is a chosen prophet, Igbos should seek for the prophet. The truth is finally here, but Nigeria finds it difficult to believe, the nation refuses to recognize the presence of the anointed saviour of the world because of tribalism,” he insisted.
On the way forward for the nation, the Cleric said that the earlier the country returned to God the better. “The nation has gone against God’s will, they hide the truth about Jesus because of what they will eat, the spirit has advised Nigerians to crown the king of this nation for the world to bear witness of the second coming of the Holy One.”

I am not in Dubai to plot against Buhari, I am here for medical attention, says Atiku

This is a press statement from former Vice President Atiku Abubakar through Mazi Paul Ibe, the media Adviser to former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,

Former Vice President and chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) Atiku Abubakar advises political mischief makers to allow him enjoy his peace and desist from sinister propaganda designed to draw a wedge between him and President Muhammadu Buhari, in order to cause needless distrust and distractions in the President's government.

Reacting to insinuations by what he called "political mischief makers and enemies of unity", who alleges that he has been hosting political meetings at Burj Al-Arab, Dubai, the former Vice President says contrary to the rumours being bandied around by political opponents, he is currently in Dubai with his family for physiotherapy on his injured knee.

A press statement released by his media office in Abuja on Sunday, 27 December 2015 and signed by his Media Adviser, Mazi Paul Ibe says the former Vice President is embarrassed by the deliberate falsehoods being spread against him by political opponents who are bent on causing distraction for President Buhari at a time all energies should be channelled into helping the President actualise his change agenda.

Describing rumour mongers as "ill-motivated busybodies that don't wish the country well", the Turaki Adamawa explains that his medical treatment is his private affairs, which should not be politicised by anybody to achieve sinister objectives.

Atiku Abubakar says he is entitled to enjoy his private life, including the right to attend to his health, without being harassed and lied against by political opponents.

Contrary to the insinuations by political opponents, the former Vice President says the success of the Buhari administration has been his preoccupation, and that any true APC member should have the same zeal.

According to him, rumour mongers that seek to cause distrust and distraction in Buhari's government do not mean well for the APC administration.

The former Vice President says with the challenges of providing good governance for the country and creating job opportunities for Nigerians, including reducing the impact of poverty, President Buhari needs all the goodwill and support in this endeavour.

"Whether at home or abroad, the Turaki is preoccupied with his unassailable support to President Buhari and his administration, especially in this critical time, as it works assiduously to turn the fortunes of our dear country around and make Nigeria work for the greater good of Nigerians".

According to Atiku, rumour mongers and mischief makers are toxic to the progress of the APC and the country at large, adding that the campaigns are gone, and therefore, all energies should be constructively devoted to the success of the Buhari administration.

"This is yet another plot of the enemies of our country and democracy to divide, divert attention and distract the APC in its avowed commitment to secure the country, provide jobs for the mass of unemployed youths, build needed critical infrastructure, enthrone a regime of probity and accountability and pull the country out of the economic woods it has been consigned to by locust years of mismanagement."

ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi threatens the West in new spine-chilling message

In his first message to the public in the last 7 months, ISIS Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has warned Western countries and Israel to expect imminent attacks and also warned “crusaders” not to dare fight on his turf.

According to CNN, Israeli Military officials are not taking the video too seriously because they believe ISIS doesn't have much of a stronghold in the country plus the exact date of the video shoot is unclear. al-Baghdadi called on Saudi citizens to 'rise up against the apostate tyrants, and avenge their people in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen'.

''Jews ,soon you shall hear from us in Palestine, which will become your graveThe Jews thought we forgot Palestine and that they had distracted us from it,Not at allJews. We did not forget Palestine for a moment, with the help of Allah we will not forget it,The pioneers of the jihadist fighters will surround you on a day that you think is distant and we know is close. We are getting closer every day."

"Crusaders and Jews don't dare to come on the ground because they were defeated in Iraq and Afghanistan," he said in the statement released through an Isil-run internet account.
'And soon, soon with God's permission, you will hear the footsteps of the mujahideen... We are getting closer to you day by day,'

''They announced lately a coalition... falsely called 'Islamic,' and announced its goal is to fight the caliphate,' said Baghdadi in the recording circulating among pro-IS Twitter users.

'If this coalition were Islamic, it would have announced victory and aid to the people of Syria,'

On Saturday, ISIS suffered a major blow after a US-backed alliance of Syrian Kurds and Arab rebel groups, backed by coalition planes, captured a dam from its fighters, cutting a main supply route of the militants.
No one has heard from the Terrorist leader in 7 monthsever since a U.S coordinated attack had reportedly injured him and he is thought to constantly move between Isil's strongholds of Raqqa, northeastern Syria, and Mosul, in Iraq, in a bid to avoid airstrikes.
